A Python-based macOS email automation app that monitors your inbox and quietly deletes repetitive email work from your life.
Manual email handling is a silent productivity killer. Important messages arrive constantly, require fast responses, and often follow repetitive patterns. Writing the same replies again and again drains focus and time.
The challenge was building a system that could monitor inbox activity continuously, generate reliable replies, and still keep the human fully in control. Automation had to feel helpful — not reckless.
“Good automation should feel invisible — helpful when needed, silent when not.”
SynapseMail was designed as a modular Python application running locally on macOS. It uses IMAP to monitor unread emails, generates HTML-based reply drafts, and provides a desktop UI for full transparency.
Users can choose templates, inject recipient names, preview replies in real time, and enable or disable automation at will. The system stays predictable, auditable, and human-supervised.
Continuously checks inbox activity without blocking the UI or hammering system resources.
HTML templates with adjustable tone, real-time preview, and personalized recipient handling.
